a very dark and noisy room even though we got a suite - just cant imagine staying in a normal room. when we came down for breakfast at 9.30 (serving till 10) there was literally nothing left but bread and butter. we asked the waitress to bring us something but she said there was nothing more because it was late. until after going to the reception with complains the food miraclously appeared on the tables. I have no idea where did the "creative" part of the name come from - the design is very poor.
Very close to restaurants, transport and sights. Very good buffet breakfast in bright modern surroundings.
Windows were not double-glazed and so noisy at night, also bed very hard.
Excellent location close to Rossio station and tram lines, as well as major Lisbon sights and nightlife in Bairro Alto. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful especially Fatima! Would stay there again.
a bit noisy bathroom could do with refurb
Hotel staff were nice, hotel lobby, restaurant and hallways were adequate.
The room it self was showing it's age, a (very) old TV, broken faucet, chipped plaster in the walls, etc.
Localization and the view of the building and its outdoor and indoor design were perfect
Convenient. Comfortable bed. Spacious room.
Noisy from traffic & trams. Poor shower. Bath was old and marked. Awful juice at breakfast.
Right in the center of all the places you would like to visit on a citytrip.
The noise of the airco's in the corridor at the back of the hotels, better choose for the traffic sounds at the front of the hotel.
I liked the convenient location and the friendly, helpful staff.
I did not like the hotel decor and the dingy appearance of my room (room 201). Apart from the reception area and the breakfast room, which are reasonably attractive, I found the hotel rather dark, dimly lit and depressing. In particular, my room had multiple scratches and chips in the wall plaster and was sorely in need of a facelift.I expected a greater level of comfort and luxury. I found much greater value for money at other hotels in Portugal, including in Lisbon, Porto, and Braga.
Near to City center.
Our room has been changed from 2 single rooms to 1 twin room due to hotel 's trouble. However there was no compensation ... just saying sorry.
Location excellant staff very helpfull. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel du wart at reception could not be more helpfull.i travel alot and would return here again no problem.
The room was quite large, with a refrigerator for chilling wine and beer. The staff spoke excellent English. There was street noise but not too bad. The location was excellent--right by the tram, bus and metro. There were many restaurants nearby.
Were on a weekend break from Algarve. Location, value for money, friendly and efficient staff would give us a reason to book this hotel again. Even though the hotel was in the centre of Lisbon the room was very quiet. Liked the character of the hotel also.
Just a small thing, but paint work in room could do with touching up. Evidence of suitcases taking paint off, and as it was blue paintwork it showed. However, this did not detract from our stay.
Excellent downtown location - sights within walking distance, or tram if further - no need yo use the Metro. Charming helpful staff. Decrease decently modernised.
the style of the hostel was really good, and the staff very nice and helpful
the view from the room was absolutely awful
